Slumber Party

A couple of weeks ago, Harris got to come over and have his very first sleep over with auntie.  We had a blast.  I could hang with a four year old every day!  We were joined by mamaw, brother and baby sam for some of the time.  I even let Harris stay up til 11:00, which some people were not happy about, geez...sorry Ben, what are you going to do, arrest me? :-)

Since the slumber party was a spur of the moment thing, Harris didn't have any extra clothes.  We had just come from having Thanksgiving with the Donaldsons and his clothes were a mess because he had been playing outside.  Once we got home, I put his clothes in the wash.  After that, it was either he wear my clothes or baby Sam's.  Luckily, I'm a shopper and had all ready purchased Sam a couple of size four t-shirts.  That maybe a little crazy considering he's only four months, but hey, I can't pass up a good deal.  The pants were a whole different story, and I was in a rush because Harris had no clothes.  I found some shorts that were a size 12 months and told harris they were cool underwear.  He LOVED them!

After eating french fries with ketchup, yuck, I hate ketchup!  Plus, green ice cream, a shit ton of wheat thins, turkey, pickles, and more turkey, I finally had to tell harry to stop eating.  I guess he has some Donaldson in him after all!

After eating, we moved onto auntie's bedroom, but not before finding Harris some really cool green 6-9 month pants that belonged to Sam.  What can I say, the boy wanted green.

Then we moved on to putting up my tiny Christmas tree and watching different clips of the song Rudolph the red nose reindeer on The Situation.  The Situation is awesome by they way, everyone loves him!

After all the Christmas fun, we wanted to watch a movie.  But Harris didn't want to watch any of my movies, so we finally settled on an old home video of heather, me, tyler and cody...plus mema, aunt rosie and mom.  We watched the whole thing!  Harris mostly wanted to know, why mema's and mom's hair "looked like that."  It was quite funny!  And the fun didn't stop there.  After the video, we went and hung with CoCo and Sam and then finally off to bed.  Harris wanted to sleep right in the middle of the bed, which is usually where I sleep.  Plus, that didn't leave much room for me.  I'm not one to cuddle much.  I'm a sweater and I get hot very easily.  But I sure do love that boy!

The next morning we woke up to these two big babies.

Houston, we have a problem!

Well, I have a problem.  Lots of them!  Last night, I got out little pinky (my scissors from the 1st grade, that I love and would probably cry if I couldn't find them) and I started cutting my hair.  Once I started, I couldn't stop myself.  I think I'm having some sort of YOUNG life crisis.  I mean, come on, I can't even fix my hair, why would I think I could cut it.  So, now It just looks a bit jagged and uneven.  But the good news is that it's still long enough to put behind my ears.  Yay.  Lucky me.

My left sides a bit shorter and I don't know.  It's fucked up.  I need professional help, and I'm not talking about a hair dresser:)

The pic above is after I tried to fix it, not much luck.  I don't even own hair spray!

But, I have found, if I lean a certain way and hold my head cocked to one side, it doesn't look that bad.
See below.

And for my readers, if I have any, sorry about all the posts about myself....and pictures.

Three Thanksgivings

And they were all wonderful!  Except the part when me and Jay got into a bit of a scuffle at the lighting of the Christmas tree and when Mamie was pumping butter into the turkey and it exploded onto us.

It was great to see family and eat lots of food.  I didn't cook anything, because every year I try, people don't like what I make.  I don't get it.

Oh, and this is the first year I've ever tried dressing.  I really liked it.  I must be growing up a little.  But nothing beats fried turkey, especially the skin...my favorite!

And I didn't take any pictures:(  Damn it.  I'll steal Heather's and post some soon.

I am thankful.

Look what I found...

So a couple years ago, my sister's friend from work saw a random picture on the computer and she thought it was me.  So she printed it out and Heather brought it to me.  Recently, while cleaning, which I obviously don't do a lot of, I found the picture.  What do you think?  Look like me at all?

I guess I can see a little resemblance.  But since I look in the mirror at myself all the time:-), I can definitely say that I don't really look like this girl.  Plus, I think she's hispanic.  I love me some hispanics, and at times have been mistaken for asian (someone once asked me if my father was asian), but I'm just a plain old pale girl who wishes she had naturally tan skin.

Until next time.

Life's Good!

That's me:)  In my room.  Watching my new TV!!!!!  Yep.  I have awesome friends!  Friends who can get really good deals!  It's huge, especially for my tiny square bedroom that is soon going to look like an episode of hoarders.  It's a 42" LG, the high number one.  I'm not really sure what all the numbers mean, but I know it's got higher numbers.  Yay!  Mamaw was able to get in on the deal too.  Let's just say, we have a shit ton of tvs now.  Us Donaldson's are moving on up in the world.  It's about damn time!

I got the hook up holler if ya hear me....

And yes, I'm watching Desperate Housewives.  Who doesn't like to look at Eva?!?!

Mama Cass

Yep, that's what people call me sometimes when they are making fun of me.  I've never actually seen mama cass, but I've heard a few things.   The first being she was a hefty woman and she died eating a ham sandwich, and then of course that she was in the mamas and the papas.  I'm obviously not getting called Mama Cass for my singing, so I'll go ahead and say it's a way for my brothers to call me fat and make me angry.  And I don't even like ham sandwiches!

I bring this up because lately I've been eating a lot of cookies!  I always eat a lot in general, but mostly salty, fatty foods.  I love french fries and could hands down win a fry eating contest.  Anyway, Mcdonalds has the BEST oatmeal raison cookies.  My mom got me hooked on them.  Every time I swing by I have to pick me up some.  Some being a box, which comes with 13 cookies!  Plus, when you order 13, they usually have to make them fresh!  Tonight I stopped and picked me up some cookies.  I think I ate 7 before I got home.

Whatever.  Food makes me happy:)

Also, I just googled Mama Cass.  I was a bit surprised.

I don't really see a comparison.  I would never wear a bonnet or elf shoes and I don't eat fruit!  That being said, she seems like a lovely woman.

Mae Mae Cook

My sweet friend Raven Cook lost her first tooth a few weeks ago!  She was so excited, so I got a quick picture.

It seems like yesterday she looked like this tiny, happy girl, and was saying things like,  "Pumpkin gonna bite me" and "That him balls?"  referring to Tyson's big sideways blackies.

Almost 2 years old.

                             In her BumBum Bee costume.
Third birthday at Cuernavaca

She is also one of the best dancers!  She can "two step" "pop lock and drop it" and do the "single ladies."  But her new favorite is break dancing and she's pretty good and self taught!

I sure do love this girl!

And she is one GREAT big sister!

Falcons Rise Up!

My sweet friend Amy gave me two tickets to see the falcons play today.  Jay and I had a great time!  It was an awesome game.  The falcons won, I got to see Tony, and I got a #88 jersey!  But I did forget my souvenir cup...dammit.  I could of gone back to get it, but I was too lazy to walk up all those stairs.  I think it was because I ate so much food at The Varsity before the game.  See pic below.

And yes, those are two things of fries on my plate and I ate them all.  Go big girl what you gon do!

Poor Jay, he had to take like a billion pictures of me and the field.  He seemed to have trouble capturing my good angle so it took a while to get a decent shot.  Whatever.  Plus, I think he might have been tired of me singing "falcons rise up."  During halftime I went and purchased me a Gonzalez jersey.  I've been trying to get one forever.  I'll probably wear it for like five days in a row...no joke.

Hopefully, we'll be going to many more games in the future!

I'm too sexy for my hair

This boy is so cute!  I love him bunches!  He's got great hair.  Some people say that he gets his tan skin from me :)

Halloween

Went to Heather's house.  She cooked.  I didn't eat.  But I heard it was good!  I did however have a few of Kim's cupcakes!

I think everyone enjoyed themselves, except maybe Bebe:)  She seems to be going through some issues....everyday.  I think she takes after me.  But she made one hell of a Snow White and Harris was a very fast Super-Man!

Here's a picture of Sam that was taken on Halloween.  I wanted him to be a girl, but I guess my idea didn't work out to well.  So instead, he was himself, which is cute enough for me!
