Favorites

One of my favorite things to do is go to the movies!  I also love to read, however, since I got "the situation" I haven't been doing much reading.  FYI, "the situation" is the name of my new macbook.  And yes, I got the name from Jersey Shore.  I mean, he's definitely not my favorite dude on the show, "the situation" that is, but for some reason I just like the name.  If you haven't checked out the show Jersey Shore you really should.  I know it sounds stupid, but I promise it's funny!

So tonight I was just looking around on "the situation" and I started looking at stuff for the new movie Water for Elephants that's coming out in 2011.  It's one of my favorite books and if you haven't read it, you should.  It's awesome!  The movie has Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson and Christoph Waltz in it.  Both Reese and Christoph have both won oscars, hers for best actress in Walk the Line and his for best supporting actor in Inglourious Basterds.  And of course Robert Pattinson!  Team Edward Bitches!!!  Well, I can't wait to go see the movie!  Just in case anyone was wondering, the last movie I saw was Easy A, and it was actually good and pretty funny too.  I recommend it, even though it wasn't my pick.  It was Josh's.  I wanted to see The Town, which is still on my list for next time.

Check ya later.

Johnny's Crew

Throughout my almost 10 year career at Johnny's I have made some of the best friends that I'll ever have, plus a pretty great fiance!  I also have many regular customers that I have come to know on a friend level.  I think that is the best part about working there, just being able to meet so many great people!  I know someday (maybe sooner, maybe later) I will have to move on to something new, which scares the shit out of me.  I'm so comfortable there and have a pretty awesome schedule for the most part.  Plus, I'm good at it.  Not that it's something to brag about, but believe me serving tables is not for everybody!   The original plan was to work at Johnny's til I graduated college, and that should of been plenty long seeing that it took me quite awhile to graduate.  You would think I would be a genius with all the college credits I have...yeah, not so much.  Moving on, it's now been almost three years since graduating and I'm still a Johnny's girl.  Oh well.  I joke that I'm going to go back to my high school reunion next year and it will be like my life hasn't changed at all...same job, living with mom, whatever...lol.  Here are a few pics of some really special people in my life.

Dog Days...Since I don't have any Children

Happy Family, except for Jay;)

Lank
Me and My Babies

I love Lank, now if we could get Mom in on some of the loving....

Below is a picture of Mamaw (or a fire breathing dragon).  I tried to get her in a picture with her  grandpuppies but she wasn't in the mood.  So, this is what I got instead....

Yikes!!!
I must confess, I do feel a little guilty for being so sneaky about how Lank came to join our happy family.  I just have to do everything Mamaw says now.  Example:  I had to pump her gas tonight and then walk all the way inside to get the damn receipt.  I know that's not that bad, but I'm sure there is more to come.

Well, Teen Mom in a few.  Plus, I still have to watch One Tree Hill that I recorded earlier tonight.  Yay!

Bringing Home A Bitch

That's what Jay and I did tonight!  We got a new dog, a new female dog (Lank) that is!  She's beautiful and so far things have been going pretty well.  We've been planning on bringing her home for a couple of weeks so I've had major anxiety over it.  We'll get to my anxiety/OCD issues later.  For those of you who don't know, I still live at home with my mother, brother and my boxer Tyson.  I live at home by choice and I love it.  I could really live here forever and yes I'm 27.  But it's like I'm 16, I swear it is!  Anywho, our plan to bring home a new dog started with one of my bffs, Toni-Marie.  She said I could have one of her pit bulls and I immediately wanted one.  This is the tricky part....I knew Mamaw would have a fucking cow, which is why we brought the dog home without telling her.  Mamaw is what I call my mom because it fits her so well.  So, Jay and I finally took Tyson over to TM's house to see how the dogs would get along together, I mean, come on I'm not a total dumb ass.  I actually had to stand outside the fence at a far off distance when the two dogs met.  My heart was racing and I had a tightness in my chest and I should of popped a pill right then, but didn't because I didn't want to fall asleep at the wheel driving home with my new bitch.  After watching the dogs for a while I did actually enter the backyard.  I mean the dogs were doing fine, beside the fact that Lanky (who I call Lank) was scared of tyson and wouldn't really move that much.  She's slowly warming up now.  So after visiting with TM and Kylie we loaded up the dogs and came home.  Of course we stopped by Target to get a few necessities for Lanky on the way.  When we got to the house no one was home so we got prepared for Mamaw's arrival.  But Jay's ass left me.  He goes to bed early and he probably wanted to leave before the wrath of Mamaw got there.  So when mom got home I told her I loved her and she assured me that she loved me no matter what, which I already new, but it's nice to soften her up a bit before the shit hits the fan.  She saw the dog and was a bit upset at first and said I had to move out, but I think she was joking.   She asked a lot of questions, which I answered truthfully, and then it was over.  I think she is going to love Lanky whether she wants to admit it or not.  And I've got to say that I have one cool Mamaw, which is probably why I will live with her forever!  Now, off to watch Keeping up with the Kardashians.  I love that show!  They might be one family who is as fucked up as mine:)

Oh Shit.

Ok, so if you know me at all then you know that I'm not that great with technology or writing or directions and what I mean by "not that great" is.....I fucking suck at it!  I'm sorry for the horrible language I use, but be warned I sometimes use dirty words.  I once heard that only idiots use curse words as word fillers cause they don't know any other words to use instead, and I agree with that, and it doesn't really bother me that much.  This blog is just really something new for me to try, it's the first new thing I've done in years(not really).  I don't do well with change, so I'm taking baby steps:)  Anyway, I'm not sure what I'm really going to write about yet, and my writing is very very very simple.  So simple that I once had a college professor at UGA tell me that my essay test was written like a fifth grader...lol, but I still got an A.  I've never been good at writing and if you don't believe me just ask my sister.  She got all the brains in the family, sorry brothers, but it's true.  She's one smart sneaky little snake.  Love you Heather and thanks for all your help.   I don't really know if this is something I will keep up with or not and I'm not really sure what I have to write about but I'll try.  Welcome to my very own freak show!
